Adopt Me LinkPicture of Snickers

Meet Snickers!

Snickers is a basset/lab mix - we call her a Bassador. Having the qualities of lab and a basset makes for a very special dog. Snickers is an adorable ~ 4 1/2-month-old, female, Bassador. She loves water and wrestling with her canine companions. Her ideal home would include a friendly, active canine companion and an adventurous person to take her fun places. She's social and would make a great companion to share time on pet friendly restaurant patios with. She loves meeting new people!
Did I mention she loves water?
She's heard her sisters are doing great and she can't wait to get adopted too! Snickers says hanging out with the dogs at her foster home is fun and all; but, she'd really love a family of her own.

Adopt Me LinkPicture of Adelaide

This is Adelaide

Adelaide or as we call her Addie is looking for her ideal home after her previous owner passed away. She's her best with submissive male dog or would be perfect as a solo dog.
She is about 10 years old and a bit overweight at 65 pounds -she's a traditionally built basset gal. Her owner passed away suddenly leaving behind five bassets, Addie is one of the two HHBR took in. She is a sweet basset gal and loves being with people. She sees herself as "Queen" and we call her "Alpha." She is the basset-in-charge at her foster home.
When she came into HHBR she had serious dental issues that needed to be treated immediately. One of her teeth fell out into the vet's hand while examining her. She lost 6 teeth during her dental due to infection which destroyed the jaw bone in that part of her mouth and spread to her nasal cavity making a small hole that had to be cleaned out and stitched up. Her vet bill was huge and Debbie's Dawgs helped out with a fundraiser.
She is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She is on two kinds of medications for her dry eye condition for the rest if her life. Meds will run around $40 a month. Addie has recovered from her dental issues and is ready for her new forever home.
